Pre-Accelerated Nursing Pathway
LAUREN SWANT, NURSING PROGRAM DIRECTOR
THANH HUYNH, HEALTH PROFESSIONS ADVISOR, SAINTS SUCCESS CENTER
The accelerated nursing program at Carroll College allows post-baccalaureate students to complete their nursing requirements in 15 months. The Pre-Accelerated Nursing Pathway helps Carroll undergraduate students pursuing majors in other subjects to prepare themselves to apply to the accelerated nursing program after graduating with their bachelor’s degree in another field. Employer demand for nurses continues to rise, and Carroll is pleased to offer several different paths toward this fulfilling career. More information about the College's accelerated nursing program is available at: https://www.carroll.edu/nursing/accelerated-nursing.
Please note that completion of the Pre-Accelerated Nursing Pathway does not guarantee admission to the accelerated nursing program at Carroll College, nor does it assure that all graduate/professional admission prerequisites have been met for accelerated nursing programs at other institutions. Carroll students pursuing this pathway need to work closely with the appropriate pre-professional advisor, as well as the admission office(s) of all prospective graduate/professional programs.
