Fine Arts Minor

Minor Program Requirements

Twenty-one semester credits, including:

I. Three courses (9 credits) chosen from the following:

ART course(s) - 3 credits

Any Art course for at least 3 semester credits

MUS course(s) - 3 credits

Any Music course(s) for at least 3 semester credits

THT course(s) - 3 credits

Any Theatre course(s) for at least 3 semester credits

II. Twelve additional Fine Arts credits from at least two different disciplines (art, music, theatre):

Of the twelve (12) credit hours of elective courses, a maximum of six (6) credit hours in practicum, Applied Music, and Music ensembles may be applied toward the Fine Arts Minor.

Notes:

• No class may meet more than one requirement even if it is listed in two categories.
• A student must receive at least a C- in a class for it to count towards the minor.
• Credits earned for this minor will not count towards a separate Theatre minor.
• Of the twelve (12) credit hours of elective courses, a maximum of six (6) credit hours in Practicum, Applied Music, and Music ensembles may be applied toward the Fine Arts Minor
