Pre-Optometry Pathway

DR. GRANT HOKIT, PRE-OPTOMETRY ADVISOR

The Pre-Optometry Pathway at Carroll College prepares students to apply to graduate programs in optometry. While biology and chemistry are popular majors, coursework in a range of subjects will provide graduates in this pathway the people skills and scientific background needed for success. Eye care professionals are in demand around the country and the world, and students in the Pre-Optometry Pathway at Carroll will be well-prepared for future study in optometry. To learn more about the Pre-Optometry program at Carroll College, visit: https://www.carroll.edu/pre-professional/pre-optometry

Please note that completion of the Pre-Optometry Pathway does not guarantee that all graduate/professional admission prerequisites have been met, nor does it assure admission into a optometry degree program. Carroll students pursuing this pathway need to work closely with the appropriate pre-professional advisor, as well as the admission office(s) of all prospective graduate/professional programs.
