BA 451 Advanced Financial Analysis & Planning

Advanced Writing. CAPSTONE COURSE FOR FINANCIAL PLANNING MAJOR. Advanced Financial Analysis and Financial Planning is the capstone course in the Financial Planning major and fulfills the writing intensive requirement for the major. All CFP Board Principal Knowledge Topic areas will be addressed during this course. Students complete a comprehensive financial plan during the semester. Post-Baccalaureate certificate students qualifying for the Accelerated Path through CFP Board rules need only take this course to fulfill the education requirement. This is a required course in the CFP Board curricula to fulfill the education requirement.

Prerequisite

Take one IW, intermediate writing course. Take BA 318, BA 411, BA 412, BA 414, BA 415, BA 421. For the Financial Planning Certificate Program, contact the Registrar's Office for assistance if you fail passing the prerequisites or ask the instructor for a requiste waiver.

Corequisite

Take BA ACOMP previously or Take BA BCOMP concurrently. For the Financial Planning Certificate Program as a Post Bacc student, contact the Registrar's Office for assistance if you fail passing the prerequisites or ask the instructor for a requisite waiver. Summer Semester available for sufficient enrollment of Accelerated Path certificate students to accommodate tax planning professionals.
