CS 121 Introduction to Cybersecurity
This introductory course offers a comprehensive overview of cybersecurity, covering key topics such as the history and evolution of cyber threats, operating system security management, and the foundations of cryptography. Students will explore essential cybersecurity frameworks like the NIST framework, gain hands-on experience with open-source security tools, and learn best practices for data protection through access controls, encryption, and secure storage.
