THT 313 Stage Dialects
Arts & Letters-Fine Arts. An advanced acting course, this class will focus on learning the International Phonetic Alphabet and how to apply it to dialect work, specifically standard American, standard British, and another dialect of the student's choosing. While there will be some academic work in this course, it will primarily focus on scene work and monologues which integrate tools taught in class and in readings.
