Entrepreneurship Certificate

Description

The Entrepreneurship Certificate is designed to allow students to obtain the necessary skills and abilities to pursue the development of an/their entrepreneurial idea with a professional individual as a mentor.

Student Learning Outcomes

  • The student will learn how to develop a business plan
  • The student will develop a business plan for their own idea or work with others on theirs.
  • The student will work with a professional mentor to develop their idea as far as possible, hopefully to commercialization

Notes:

  1. All entrepreneurship certificate students must earn a grade of “C-” or better in all required courses.
  2. Where optional course electives exist, courses cannot be double counted to fulfill requirements in more than one area in the business majors, minors, or certificate programs.
