ACNU 202 Assessment & Health Promotion
The purpose of this course is to understand health assessment principles, to apply evidence-based health promotion, and to acquire techniques for physical examination by the professional nurse. Focus is on the development and use of assessment skills as a basis for clinical decision-making, along with proper documentation of assessment findings.
Prerequisite
Admissions to the ACNU track. Take BI201, BI202, CH111, PSY105, ENWR102, CO101 with a minimum grade of C- or better.
