Facilities Disaster
A facilities disaster, be it natural or otherwise, can occur any time. Circumstances will vary and the specific disaster will dictate unique responses. If you are in a building when a facilities disaster occurs, evacuate the building as quickly and safely as possible. Students may be evacuated from affected areas of the campus. Students will be advised by emergency services or college staff whether to seek safe shelter in a campus building such as the PE Center or the Campus Center or in an off-campus location such as a high school gymnasium or the Civic Center. Updates will be posted on the college’s web site and through emergency messaging to emergency contact phone numbers.
