ANZ 332L Equine Lab: Nature of Horses
The laboratory component of this class is designed to provide hands-on experiences with horses. During the lab students will be taught specific skills necessary for owning a horse and helpful in working at or managing a stable. Guided instruction will be provided on topics such as first aid, vaccinations, hoof care, horse transport, care and use of tack, pasture management, feeding, manure management and equitation. Must be taken concurrently with
ANZ 332.
Prerequisite
Take one Biology course with a minimum grade C-, except BI 101 101L. For ANZ courses, take
ANZ 231 ANZ 233 AND
ANZ 233L.
Corequisite
Take
ANZ 332 lecture concurrently.
