CORE
Sed Vitae. Enrollment in CORE-ABROAD indicates that your study abroad experience will be used to satisfy the Core Curriculum's Sed Vitae requirement. CORE-ABROAD itself carries no credits, and adds only one additional requirement to your study abroad experience: you must complete the Sed Vitae reflection essay at the end of your time abroad. If you meet the essay requirements, you will earn a "Pass" for CORE-ABROAD and complete the Sed Vitae requirement.
Sed Vitae. Enrollment in CORE-INTERN indicates that your academic internship will be used to satisfy the Core Curriculum's Sed Vitae requirement. CORE-INTERN itself carries no credits, and adds only one additional requirement to your academic internship experience: you must complete the Sed Vitae reflection essay at the end of your internship. If you meet the essay requirements, you will earn a "Pass" for CORE-INTERN and complete the Sed Vitae requirement. If your internship is credit-bearing, it will receive a separate grade as determined by your academic internship faculty advisor.

CORE-PRAC itself carries no credits, and adds only one additional requirement to your practicum experience: you must complete the Sed Vitae reflection essay at the end of your experience. If you meet the essay requirements, you will earn a "Pass" for CORE-PRAC and complete the Sed Vitae requirement. If you are enrolled in a credit-bearing course that is associated with your practicum experience (e.g.
BA-402,
ED-410,
ENGR-412,
NU-305, etc.), it will receive a separate grade as determined by your faculty instructor.
Core Project is the Capstone assignment for Carroll's liberal arts Core curriculum. Students create and record a multimedia presentation in which they reflect on their liberal arts education and its impact on them. All undergraduate students must complete Core Project prior to graduation.
