I. Major Program Requirements

Thirty-three semester credits of history, including:

HI 101	Topics in Global History I	3
HI 102	Topics in Global History II	3
HI 121	History of the United States (ND) I	3
HI 122	HI of the United States II	3
HI 494	Historiography & Historical Methods(WI)	3
HI 495	Research Seminar in History	3

One non-western “global diversity” history course, chosen from the following list:

HI 241	History Modern Middle East (GD)	3
HI 251	Introduction to East Asia(GD)	3
HI 271	History of Modern Latin America (GD)	3
HI 291	Modern African History (GD)	3

Note: At least 6 of the remaining 12 credits must be taken in courses at the 300-400 level.

II. Other Program Requirements

Required courses:

FR/SP/GM/GK/LA	Modern foreign or classical language through the intermediate level	3-12, depending on starting profiency
MA 207	Introduction to Statistics	3

MA 207: also fulfills Math requirement for CORE
