Residence Hall Councils

Residents in campus housing may elect Residence Hall Council officers each year. Residence Hall Councils (RHCs) represent the interests, needs, and concerns of all individuals who reside in their buildings. The Residence Hall Councils are composed of a President, Vice President, Secretary, ASCC Senate representatives, and Floor Representatives to the Council. The Councils promote and organize social, recreational, and cultural activities and programs for their halls. The Residence Hall Councils receive support and advice from faculty and administration. All council members, in order to run for or remain in office, must be in good standing, and not on disciplinary or academic probation.
