ART 113 Digital Photography

Arts & Letters-Fine Arts. he goal of this class is to let students get their cameras out of the bag, learn the basics of photography as well as how to operate a DSLR level camera to become a better photographer. Students are required to have their own digital camera for the first day of class, and can direct all questions about eligible cameras to the instructor. Upon successful completion of this class, students will be able to diagnose different shooting scenarios and manipulate manual camera settings to produce creative and fundamentally sound digital photographs. By introducing them to a wide variety of genres of photography (i.e. portrait, editorial, landscape, commercial, sports, etc.) they will be able to enjoy taking better photographs later in life.
