PSY 414 Physiological Psychology

Physiological Psychology focuses on the physiological basis of behavior and cognition. The course discusses the structure of the nervous system and various neuropsychological tests and techniques used to evaluate neurological disorders. Topics include neuroanatomy, sensation and perception, and the neurological correlates of attention, learning, memory, language and decision making. A laboratory section includes in-depth discussions and activities on a variety of topics including case studies of neurological disorders and hands-on experience with sheep brain and cow eye dissections.
